This is a sculpt I did as part of a 3D scene project that I never quite got around to finishing. I really loved how this came out, so it felt worth showcasing. It's just the raw sculpt, has not been retopologised and is utilizing the BasicMaterial material in ZBrush.
The context for it within the scene is that it was part of a world where goat people had been enslaved to human beings over a long period of time. A young rebellious goat had come to destroy the grave of one of the most powerful humans in history. The head was placed above the grave both as a sign of respect from other humans, but the use of a goat headpiece was meant to instil fear in the goat people.
I wanted the anger to really come through by sculpting deep grooves into the face to give it that angry strained look. It's a look many statues utilize, as seen in my reference collection.
